Thank you to my readers for the feedback 😊
I wanted to stop for a minute to thank some people that have messaged me over the last couple weeks about my new cozy mystery novel, Perilous Pins. I truly appreciate your feedback about Perilous Pins and it drives me to continue to write more books. To follow are a couple of quotes from some personal messages I have received recently:
“Just finished your book and loved it. Now I can’t wait to read the next one…………Thank you, you did an amazing job and kept my interest i wanted to keep reading it.”
“I finished the book! What an ending, I was really hooked and had to keep reading it.”
“Love the book! Read it all in one day, could not lay it down!”
Shhhh, here’s a little secret……
The last few weeks I have been working on the outline for my next novel. Book #2 in the Sydney Jones Mystery Series. It is set in Blueberry Falls. And the location is a real business again. Just like Riverbowl is a real location in a fictional town. The business for Book #2 is located in the Muskoka/Parry Sound Region. They are excited to have their location featured……even if the fictional story involves yet another mystery in Blueberry Falls. I hope to be finished outlining by the end of August but I must admit, summer time is a hard season to write.
Can you guess what the real business is? Send me an email with your guesses. books@gracebowenbooks.ca
🎯 Please Leave a Review
It would really mean a lot if you would leave a review of my book(s) on Amazon or Goodreads or in an email to me if you don’t use either of those platforms.
Thanks so much 😊
Book of the month
I actually found another cozy mystery that featured a bowling alley. I found it in a great used book store in Parry Sound. It was really good. I enjoyed it and I think you will too. Die Me A River by Denise Swanson. I have added the book blurb below the pic.
“New York Times bestselling author Denise Swanson returns with a new cozy mystery in her Welcome Back to Scumble River series!
The chips are down in Scumble River…
Welcome to a mystery that will keep you guessing ‘til the end!
Perfect for fans of Kate Carlisle and Sheila Connolly. For readers of cozy mysteries and small-town cozy fiction School psychologist Skye Denison-Boyd had hoped that her maternity leave would be at least a little relaxing, but when she and her husband, Wally, meet with the priest to discuss their newborn twins’ christening, an explosion at the nearby bowling alley rocks the rectory. And although the business was closed at the time of the blast, there’s a body inside.
As police chief, Wally is inevitably drawn into the murder mystery, which seems to indicate that foul play is afoot again in Scumble River, and Skye can’t help but do a bit of her own sleuthing. But the clues come fast and furious, ranging from an odd new stranger in town to animosity toward the gambling machines that had recently been installed at the bowling alley, and Skye finds herself wondering if this could be the puzzle that stumps her for good.
New York Times bestselling author Denise Swanson has penned another hit for cozy fans with Die Me a River, the latest installment in her beloved Welcome Back to Scumble River mystery series.”
